Well guys after another 2
week break the Captain is back with an all new adventure. For
starters I want to send love to the survivors of the last
hurricane. Keep on Truckin’ guys. Also I feel RT needs a Special
Bus shout out; you’ll make it partner. My angel, Kinsey, also gets
some TLC from Special Bus. Lastly I can’t forget to give love to
the “wonderful” gate woman at the UGA football game Saturday that
made me walk completely around the student section to go to my
seats in the student section. Yeah you remember what I said and I
stand by those words “female”.
Well it’s the most
wonderful time of the year, The Fall. UGA football is in full
swing and Matt has found his first love. The excitement and wow
that comes on Saturday get my heart pounding. Go Dawgs.
In other news the Captain
would like to apologize to the young lady that he tagged after
watching the movie Anchorman Thursday night. Even
though both vehicles were unharmed (we knew the Red Rocket would
survive) I apologize. She was very cool though, and all I can do
is blame the beautiful and talented Elizabeth. [sarcasm] Thanks
Liz [/sarcasm].
Well unlike many of my
readers I wasn’t cowering in fear of Frances or waiting for the
swift currents to sweep me away over the Labor Day weekend. No
instead I got sick and slept through impending death. You've gotta
love the plague that takes an entire stinking week to get over. So
I’ve spent the last week in a comatose stage, but unlike a coma I
had the pleasure of studying for a Plant Bio exam. Well my
studying paid off because a drunken monkey could have passed it.
Go me; I love wasting my valuable sleep time.
The major event in my life
the past couple of weeks occurred Tuesday night. Sure it could
have been a religious experience or I found true love, but no. As
my sister pulled into the BSU her tire exploded. It would be
pointless to think it would be easier to leave it in the parking
lot and fix it in the morning, but she happened to be in a
university lot. There’s nothing fun about taking 40 Big Ones in
the team.
Now I can’t blame my
sister so I’ll blame Ford. Remember the a few years ago when they
got in trouble for crappy tires, yeah so do I, but I digress.
But back to my story,
after her tire evaporated from the rim she called me. Ahh yeah the
good Captain had to change a tire his sister’s Ford at night in
the rain. FYI I have a new respect for the guys at NASCAR. It
sucked, but hey I love my sister so I guess it was worth it.
Well that wraps up this
weeks edition, and to be honest I didn’t get any great stories
from you guys. For that matter I didn’t get any stories, and I’m a
little disappointed. You crazy kids need to write me or “I’ll blow
you up”. Remember When in Rome and whether the glass
is half empty or half full you can still put more in it.
